Our Exploration of a New Park!

Today was Miss Megan's last day with us. She has been a big help over the last month. In the afternoon we had fun discovering a new park that she took us to in the community.

GNORM IS BACK!!!

We are happy and excited that our forest friend has once again been found on the way back from our forest adventure. Our students whooped and hollered as they found and discovered that their forest friend was back. He is now resting comfortably in the classroom after a long time away. We can't wait to hear about his adventures.

JK/SK Afternoon Concert

Hi Everyone,

The Jk's and Sk's are getting together to put on one final performance. This will be on June 19th at 2:15pm. Our students are very excited getting ready for their show. The show will take place in our Lunch Room and then you are invited back to our room for some juice and cookies.

More information will follow closer to the date.

Spring Fair

Just a reminder if you are interested, the Spring Fair is on Thursday June 4th 2015 from 5-9pm.
Tickets are $9.00 each or 25.00 for a family pass.

Jump Rope for Heart

Today we had a great time jumping outside. The kids did a great job. We were so happy for the warm weather. Have a great weekend.

Play Equipment

Thank you for the donation of the playhouse to our kindergarten yard. The children were really excited and have already enjoyed playing with it. If anyone knows of any other playhouses or outside equipment that they are looking to donate we would greatly appreciate it.

Scientist in the School

We were so fortunate to have the Buzz About Bees workshop last week.  What an amazing program.   The Highview School Council funded our first visit from scientists in school back in the fall but not our second (my mistake).  Please send in $6.65 to cover the cost of our visit from 'The Bee Lady'.  Thank you!
