End of the year fun!

We had a great time today. It is with mixed emotions that we say good bye for the summer. We wish you all the best and look forward to seeing you in September. Congratulations to our SK families.

As a special surprise, to end a successful year, we had Zoo to You come in for the students. Enjoy some fun pictures.

Play Day

Tomorrow is play day! We are hoping for good weather. Please dress appropriately for the day. Don't forget a hat, sunscreen, running shoes, and extra clothes.

Today we also had a fantastic surprise! Ms. Wand, came in for a visit!! The students were so excited to see her and spend some time with her in the afternoon.

Safety Village

We had a great time at Safety Village today! The students talked to a police officer about when to call 911 and when not to. We got to sit in a real police car and turn on the siren. One of our stops was the city jail where we got to see our students behind bars;) After snack we visited a fire fighter who taught us about the dangers of smoke and what to do in case of a fire at home. We practised stop, drop and roll in case our clothes catch fire. We learnt a lot and had a great time.

Thank you everyone for making our afternoon a huge success! We are so proud of our students and their hard work this year. Thanks to all our parents for your support and encouragement. Thank you for sharing them with us this year!

Safety Village

Hi Everyone,

Safety Village  is a short trip, 9-11:30am.  The children will bring their snacks with them.  Just pack a regular lunch as we will back by then.

Fairy Lake

Tomorrow is our Fairy Lake field trip!

Please remember to dress for the weather. Students have been asked to leave their ibags at home and only bring the necessary items for the day. Please also leave toys and games at home so they are not lost.

Bring:
- backpack
- running shoes
- sunscreen
- towel
- wear a bathing suit under clothes.
- extra clothes
- hat
- water bottle (to keep the water cold fill up half the bottle tonight and freeze it,  fill the rest up tomorrow before you leave)
- lunch
- extra snacks

We are looking forward to our trip with the students!

SK Reading Program

Hi Everyone,

As the year comes to a close the SK's will not be bringing home any more books. I will be reading with them at school to confirm there reading levels for next year. If you have any books at home please send them back as soon as possible.

JK Reading Program

Hi Everyone,

The classroom is a buzz of energy as we approach the end of the year! The Jk's will continue to read at school with us, but we will no longer be sending books home. We are taking inventory of our early readers so if you find any at home please send them back so that we can get them organized.

Just a quick reminder of our JK/SK celebration on June 19th  2:15pm in the lunch room.

Our Exploration of a New Park!

Today was Miss Megan's last day with us. She has been a big help over the last month. In the afternoon we had fun discovering a new park that she took us to in the community.
